Replicate is represented as a host for image and video generation models. A platform-level price is not enough to estimate an application because model publishers can use different billing units and output constraints. The catalog therefore records exact model endpoints and attaches pricing sources to each offer.
An image feature creates demand from monthly image count, width, and height. A video feature adds clip count, duration, resolution, and audio mode. Replicate can supply one or more of these media components while language, search, and scraping remain separate parts of the stack.
The current catalog has several Replicate offers, including both image and video models. Each offer receives a separate calculator action so the selected endpoint is explicit. The page does not choose a “default Replicate model” that could imply an unsupported quality preference.
The engine supports per-image, per-megapixel, per-clip, and per-output-second rules. It also respects minimum duration and billing steps when those values are verified. Before calculating a price, it checks the requested media profile against the exact offer.
This is intentionally different from estimating generic hardware runtime. Runtime-based infrastructure prices do not automatically describe the final charge for a published model endpoint. Only the billing unit stated by the offer’s official source is used.
The dynamic cards above display endpoint identifiers, output profiles, plan formulas, verification dates, and source links from the current pricing snapshot. Numerical rates are not repeated in this article.
Price is directly comparable only after the requested outputs match. Quality and generation speed require a recent cohort with consistent host, resolution, duration, audio mode, and methodology. If the evidence dataset cannot support that comparison, Cheapest remains available while Fastest or Balanced is marked unavailable.
Real product spend may also include retries, safety filtering, storage, delivery, and application infrastructure. These costs are outside the MVP estimate. Teams with measured retry rates can increase exact monthly output volume to reflect them.
Use the action on the required model card. The calculator opens the matching Image or Video scenario and locks that offer while leaving other stack categories comparable. This makes it possible to test volume changes without losing the model decision.
Check the displayed model page and verification date before procurement. Replicate’s general pricing information explains the platform, but model-specific sources determine the catalogued charge.
