About ByeTokens

A clearer way to plan the API budget of a small AI application.

Who is responsible

ByeTokens is maintained by its creator and publishes under the ByeTokens name. The creator is responsible for the catalog, calculation rules and editorial material. There is no claim of an independent review team.

What this project helps with

For developers and technical founders, ByeTokens turns a workload into an estimated API budget and compares compatible services from its catalog. It covers supported language models, search, page retrieval, image and video services. Access does not require an account.

How the numbers are prepared

Catalog entries attach rates to pricing sources and verification dates. The engine applies billing rules to the supplied workload. Catalog snapshots preserve the data used by a calculation. Automated validation checks structure and arithmetic; it does not establish that a provider still charges the same rate.

Read the calculation methodology, inspect data coverage, or follow changes.

Editorial policy

Guides are prepared and reviewed by ByeTokens. A review checks assumptions, source links, billing explanations and conclusions. Article review dates, tariff verification dates and catalog generation dates describe different checks.

Worked examples are illustrative. Measured experiments must provide recorded API usage and a provider cost report. Corrections explain their effect on estimates; dates are not refreshed merely because a build or source fetch succeeded.

Limits and independence

This is an API planning tool, not a guaranteed invoice, a consumer subscription comparison or a complete operating-cost model. Missing coverage is explicit. Quality evidence is separate from price verification.
