OpenRouter is listed as a language-model access provider. It exposes many models from different vendors and may route requests through different hosting options. That breadth makes it useful for model discovery, but it also means there is no honest provider-wide token rate.
Why the status is Catalog only
The calculator requires every active offer to identify an exact model or endpoint, hosting provider, billing rule, limits, and official sources. A generic OpenRouter entry would hide differences between model vendors and routes. It could also duplicate a model already represented through a direct provider without explaining whether the product and host are equivalent.
For those reasons, OpenRouter is not assigned a placeholder model or an average price. It is excluded from calculated stacks rather than appearing as free or unavailable due to an error.
What a future offer requires
A calculable entry would pin the exact OpenRouter model identifier and route assumptions. It would record input and output token rates, context limits, capabilities, verification time, and the relationship between model vendor and host. If routing can change the billed endpoint, that behavior must be represented instead of assumed away.
Using this page
The official links above lead to the provider and its model catalog. There is no calculator CTA until an exact, source-backed offer exists. Direct language-model offers remain available for cost planning today.
The catalog-only label is a data-quality boundary. It lets the product acknowledge a relevant service without turning incomplete information into a false comparison.
